Where and when does the Air Victory Museum Composite Squadron meet?
We meet every Thursday evening at the Air Victory Museum in Lumberton, NJ from 1900-2100 hours (7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.). Visit our Visit Us page for directions. We hope to see you there!

What are the requirements for membership?
Cadet Membership: To join you must be between 12 and 18 years of age and not a member of the active duty Armed Forces.
Senior Membership: Must be at least 18 years old. All individuals applying for senior membership must be screened and registered by National Headquarters.

Is it expensive to join the Civil Air Patrol and what do I get with my membership?
The current cost for a year of cadet membership in New Jersey is $39.00. At the time of application, you will be sent a set of study books and a CD-ROM, as well a dress blues uniform if funding allows. You also get the monthly CAP News which keeps you up to date with events going on in CAP. But the greatest benefit you will recieve is the opportunity to serve, while developing leadership and practical skills.

How do I join?
Fill out an application for membership (available on request at any meeting). Obtain the required signatures, and mail it to National Headquarters. We recommend that you attend three meetings before sending in your application.

Are parents allowed to come with their cadets to the meetings?
Absolutely, in fact we encourage this. In addition, we encourage every parent to become involved as a senior member. For more information speak with any Cadet Staff or Senior Member.
