Colonel McCabe, New Jersey Wing Commander, and Major Pope, New Jersey Wing Director of Cadet Programs, presented the award. Some of the criteria for this award included recruiting efforts, number of airplane "orientation" flights given and the amount of active members. After the presentation, both the Squadron Commander 1st Lt Bolognone of Medford and the Cadet Commander C/2d Lt Capiak of Tabernacle, emphasized how this was not an individual effort, but rather a team effort, put forth by the entire squadron over this past year.
